hype handbag

I’m not into Coach, Guess, Louis Vuitton, Juicy Couture or anything that falls into that sort of ‘hype.’
I’m 15 years old, I’ll go up to 0, I am in no way spoiled, I’ll save up for it.

What details should I find if it’s a real LV?
It has a leather label in it that says
"LOUIS VUITTON"
"PARIS"
"made in france"
And the zipper is gold-colored or -plated metal with LV engraved on it. It’s the signature brown and gold design combo of symbols and LVs. A pair of Red Cherries with smiles and eyes painted on them is on each side of the purse. The hang tag said Louis Vuitton on it, and it came with a purse tan paper-like mesh carrying bag with this -read below- written on it.

"LOUIS VUITTON"
"MALLETIER A PARIS"
"MAISON FONDEE EN 1851"
I got it new for . Does it sound like its real? My mom, my sister, and I believe it is, but what do you think?? Is it authentic?
If it is real, how much would it be worth?
The serial number in it’s "M51980"

i have found http://www.louis-vuitton-overstock.com/ for selling LV bags, watches, and so on…, are they real stuff? with those price? if they are fake, how come LV company didnt catch them ? they are opened since 2006, have anyone purchase anything from them yet? thanks for all you comments

I was looking at the same bag (being sold by other people) and I notice something a little different. I notice that the LV logo isn’t hidden in the pocket. it’s above it. But I found this bag http://auctions.overstock.com/aimages/d/0/4/132/41325274_1.jpg that looks just like the one I want to get. I’m really confused!

I don’t want a long shoulder strap…..I want an about 22 inch one like what came with my purse orginally. I accidently snapped the strap in half. If it helps, I have the Baggy PM http://www.eluxury.com/browse/product_detail.jhtml?styleid=10960531&SectionID=6000
I know there are some straps on eluxury.com and some on ebay (I don’t care if it’s authentic…….just somewhere near what it should look like)but I don’t have 0 to spend on a strap. I have around or so…..and I know that sounds silly b/c I have a purse that cost about 00 but it was a gift, I didn’t purchase it myself, I am just a poor college student I once found a knock off purse that looked just like mine on Overstock.com for and I was going to get that and just use the strap…..but I forgot and now it’s gone Thanks!
already tried ebay……all I found was long straps that cost 0+ …….and the strap broke after 1 year because I don’t know how to treat really nice things (sad, but it’s the truth!) and the leather got dry (b/c I didn’t oil it not once) and torn some then I tore it some more on accident then the strap was hanging by only a few strands and my boyfriend tore it the rest of the way.
